Starting Measurements

Yes, I have pictures. Yes, they are embarrassing. Yes, I'm going to post them. Why? Because they are me, the me I do not like and if they are here out in the open they are a reminder that I am trying to be a better and healthier me. They will be a reminder to keep trying and hopefully a success when I can look back at them at the end of this challenge and see some results.

Journey to a better me

After three kids and a runin with a pretty crappy thyroid, I have reached a weight that just makes me unhappy. Who can change that? Me! I have made the decision that I am ready to start that process. I need to be healthy for my family and for me. They say that abs are made in the kitchen not at the gym. I am not trying to have abs but would like a slimmer stomach. Really just a slimmer me all over. After seeing first hand the results of using Advocare I figured I would give it a shot.
Advocare is not a diet it is a lifestyle change. The 24 day challenge points you in the right direction and gets you making healthy eating habits. My biggest problem is that I do not eat at all. One meal a day is good enough for me. This is probably worse than eating crap food all day long. Hopefully by the end of this challenge I will have the knowledge and habit formed of what to eat and when and how much.
